The Sonics got off to a hot start, pushing ahead 19-6 halfway through the first quarter.Despite the slow start for the 76ers, they pulled themselves to within four points at the half with a strong first-half performance from big man Glen McGowan who had 11 points and four rebounds in the first 20 minutes of play.In the third quarter, the 76ers got to within just two points of Seattle, but the Sonics pulled away with great guard play from Noel Felix and Tony Bobbitt. Both Seattle players were in double digits by the end of the third quarter as the Sonics led with a 13 point lead.Both teams shot just over 40 percent, but the difference came in the turnover category as the 76ers had 17 in the first three quarters.As the fourth quarter started, it looked like there would not be an undefeated team in this year?s RMR, but the 76ers weren?t done making an effort to go 5-0. Philly made a run down the stretch, but late Seattle pulled away as they pushed their lead to eight.A break away dunk by Louis Williams pulled Philadelphia to with four points with :27 left. Rodney Carney brought the 76ers to within one points with :15 left on a long three-pointer. When Kansas standout Aaron Miles made two free throws, Seattle was up by three.With :06 seconds left, Louis Williams faked Noel Felix in the air, drawing a foul shot on the three-point line. Williams missed the first free throw, and made the last two at the line. A Philadelphia foul and two Robert Swift free throws later, the Sonics were back up three points now :04 left.A Steven Smith three-pointer fell short for the 76ers, and Philadelphia lost its first game of the Revue. Both Smith and Williams ended with 21 points. Willaims did get less turnovers your right so that's good. I think 3 turnovers now is a hole lot better, but he needs to keep learning he can be a good player.
