Los Angeles Angels left-hander Tyler Skaggs will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow, the team announced. He is expected to miss all of next season while recovering from the surgery. Skaggs said Sunday he chose surgery over rehabilitation because he thinks it's the best thing for his career.
