<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As the Bulls prepared to depart on a challenging road trip, with stops in Miami, Dallas and Houston, coach Scott Skiles offered a simple game plan:

"We've got to get back to playing inspired basketball," he said. "We know it. The guys know it. They've talked about it among themselves.

"That's all we're really concerned about. If we do that, we'll take whatever the result is."

The Bulls have lost two games in a row, and the 107-97 defeat at New Jersey on Tuesday marked the first time since Dec. 6 that the Bulls weren't competitive through the final two minutes of a contest.

But how far the Bulls have slipped is open to debate. Just more than a week ago, they turned in two of the best performances this season in road wins at Detroit and Atlanta. Then the Bulls returned home, played their fourth game in five nights and still managed to beat Denver.

Since then, there was a lackluster win over Charlotte, a squandered 13-point lead against Boston and the loss to the Nets.</div>
