    It can't hurt. I don't think he'll be a liability in a backup role for the short time Betts is out.

    Good news is... he's experienced, he can catch, and he's knows how to pick up blitzers.

    Bad news is, he has looked really washed up.

    Its not a bad move, however, IMO.
