^^^^..... Bravo- Synchronistic timing Tote.... My Son and I, have been debating all week over killer robots, drones, and AI, as well as the flipping robot, and robotic AI wars, or non-AI robot soldiers... why some in Congress have problems with robots, or umanned aircraft killing peeps, I don't get it. A weapon imo, is no different than a UAV, or a Killer bot, but AI, self replicating, I'm not so sure about...
I think of it this way.... You have a guard dog, do you want the dog making the decisions or following your commands? One way is stupid and the other is responsible. As for this issue, seriously Asminov raised this warning in 1950 with I Robot. And again 1984 brought the Terminator franchise and it's SkyNet.
a 2nd aspect: most people with dog's, are flat out 'dog stupid', as it's the human handler and master who has to be trained first before the dog, so the dog can be trained proper. In most cases I see, the dog is the alpha handling it's owner. A large majority of 'dog stupid' peeps in our society; perhaps the vast majority allowing their dogs to make the demands of their owners.... Yep, I'd wan't the latter, while imo, the vast majority fall prey, allowing the prior, by default of ignorance....
