<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Following Tuesday's loss at New Jersey, Bulls coach Scott Skiles suggested a starting lineup change could be in order. Asked again Friday, Skiles didn't rule it out. "There's a small possibility," he said. "It's just that when we did it before, clearly we got a big bounce out of that. Sometimes it's necessary. We'll see. We've got to get better starts and got to get better starts to the third quarter." When the Bulls started the season 0-9, Skiles brought Chris Duhon, Antonio Davis and Luol Deng into the starting lineup to replace Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler and Eric Piatkowski and won that night at Utah. A few days later, Curry was back as a starter, replacing Andres Nocioni, and the Bulls' starting lineup has stayed basically the same, other than a few games missed by Davis and Curry. "I think the challenge that Skiles puts on us is going to wake us up," Duhon said. "We've had a couple tough practices. He's going to make his point - if you're not going to get out there and do what we ask you to do, then you're not going to play." Chandler returned to practice Friday after taking two days off to rest a sore upper back. "I had a full practice and actually felt pretty good," Chandler said. "I know I'll be fine." "Going to where we're going and playing who we're playing, it doesn't hurt to have an extra 7-footer out there, that's for sure," Skiles said with a nod to Miami's Shaquille O'Neal.</div> Source
If there's a lineup change, I think there are a few possibilities. One would be inserting Gordon in, but considering how well he's done off the bench and how good Chris Duhon has been this season, I don't see that happening. The second would be inserting Nocioni back in for Deng. The one thing that'd do is it'd give the Bulls another bench scorer, however, he's been good in the starting lineup and good on the bench this year, I'd be curious to see if they move him again. The final possibility that'd come to my mind is Tyson Chandler being brought in for Davis. Chandler has been good this year, in specific on the defensive end, and seeing as how the Bulls have struggled a little as of late defensively, that could be just what they need.
