A pair of Hall of Famers, that's what the Jazz once had. Everybody said so: Two sure-fire, first-ballot, cast-the-plaques-now immortals. But maybe there were three, all along -- and maybe one still toils for the Jazz. Plenty of current Basketball Hall of Famers certainly think so. "To me, Jerry Sloan has an unbelievably impressive r?sum?," said Lakers great Jerry West, who has been enshrined since 1979. "I can't see any reason why he won't be in there someday." http://www2.sltrib.com/jazz/main/index.asp
I have the greatest respect for Sloan as a coach. He is undoubtedly one of the best in the game, and his ability to keep this no-name team competitive is remarkable.
