His debut as DeShawn Stevenson's replacement made a splash. But Sasha Pavlovic has looked like he's drowning ever since. And his coach is thinking of pulling him out of the pool altogether. The rookie guard, handed a starting job when Stevenson was traded last week, responded with 16 points in New York. But he followed up that performance by getting into early foul trouble in each of his next two starts, and he shot a combined 2-for-11 in just 27 combined minutes.

I don't think Sasha is quite ready to start yet, every now and again it'll all go right for him, but he normally picks up as many fouls as points. He needs to week on his speed, so he doesn't pick up fouls quick. But until Gordan Giricek learns the Jazz offense, or Mo Williams or Raja Bell gets the starting spot, he will be starting. I agree with Sloan, because Sasha has shown he can play........sometimes.
