"The Lions weren't in the mood for solace. They didn't want to hear about their perseverance or resiliency or how valiantly they fought. "We aren't happy with hearing, 'Oh, they're better than last year,' or 'They're a good team; we didn't expect them to play this well,'" said receiver Nate Burleson, after the Lions' 28-20 loss to the Giants at the new Meadowlands Stadium on Sunday. "We've heard that too many times. We walk into any stadium, home or away, to win games and the fact that we aren't winning games is completely on our shoulders."
