Well its considered by many to be a dirty and deadly habit, so I'm just curious to know, who here smokes? [IMG]

I used to only smoke when I went out for the night, or when I was at a party etc. but I stopped that for some time, and only over the last couple of weeks I've started doing it again [IMG]

I dont manage to become addicted though, which is good.

Yeah, I've been smoking for about 4-5 years now. When I drink, I smoke like a chimney.

I've smoked pot since I was 12 or so, cigarettes since I was about the same age. I'm a Camel man myself, but I used to be a Marlboro man. I just prefer the taste of Camels though, and Marlboro's are too taxing. Mostly I just stick to the dank though, usually only buying cigarettes when I'm coked up.

I used to smoke a lot (2 packs a day), then I quit and now I think it's pretty much a waste of time, it does nothing for me. There is an interesting thing I noticed - i am allergic to gluten (wheat/oats/barley) and since I have quit eating gluten I do not crave cigarettes and they do nothing for me. so if you have trouble quitting smoking, try quitting bread first....

lol at Voodoo Child's no-holds-barred honesty with his drug use....

You ever try the Canadian smokes called Du maurier? Easily my favorite smokes. I prefer Marlboro over Camels, though.

I've been seeing those around now that I'm up north, but I haven't tried them yet. They weren't anywhere down south. I'll check them out.

And lol, phun, it's just not that big of an issue to me to talk about using drugs. They're very much a part of my life. It'd be a farce if I put on a front of a straight edge lifestyle, yano?

So anyone else like to smoke the buddha?

Pretty much everyday. Not that I spend a lot of money on it, I just got a lot of friends who will blaze me up anytime.

Can't stand it myself, though I'm not one of those people that want it banned from being sold. Your choice to smoke really. I'm allergic to something inside the cigarettes, but I forget the name. I can't be around people that smoke in other words, or else I get sick. Thankfully in France recently they banned smoking in most places so now I won't have to avoid people like the plague.

Why are cigarattes legal and weed is not?

Why is weed illegal and alchohol is not?

Exactly. Weed actually causes me to be more cautious when I'm driving, opposed to alcohol, which is the cause of almost all serious traffic-related deaths every year. It's a shame.

The "legalize marijuana" movement's nothing new though. That's been going on since your grandparents were teens. It's just never going to happen. At least, in my lifetime I doubt it will.

Yeah, this is true, though only to an extent. A buddy of mine drove way better when he smoked a bit of pot. However, not the same result if he was baked off his ass if you catch my drift. Most people would go for the latter if it was legal.

Well, I'm not saying legalize driving while baked. There'd be laws against that just as there's laws against drunk driving.

I don't get why conservative America is so scared of marijuana though. Even most open-minded non-smokers will tell you that any harm it does is minor and self-inflicted.

Weed is only illegal cause they can't figure out a way to market it and control it they way they can with alcohol. If you can grow it yourself, why would you go to a store and buy it?

You study history man? There were more lawbreakers when Alchohol was illegal and that's how Al Capone made thousands off of bootleg liquor, just learned that in history [IMG]

Yeah, I'm drug free [IMG] I've seen what drugs, alchohol, and smoking does to you. I've grown up watching my uncle get thrown in jail and getting all messed up from drugs, and I don't want to end up like that. The way he got started was in HS his baseball coach would light this one drug (forget what it was) in an ash tray and have them breath it in all through the game so they were playing high pretty much [IMG] I have no clue how they only lost 3 games in all four years he played, 2 of the 3 losses were in section championships in a smoke free fields.

Easy, because the government wouldn't make money off it. People would still grow and go to the streets.
