<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Parker eager to play alongside Wade By Kevin Clark | South Florida Sun-Sentinel July 29, 2007 Article Tools E-mail Print Single page view Reprints Reader feedback text size: Smush Parker, the Heat's newest acquisition, might be one of the luckiest point guards in the NBA. After two seasons running point for Kobe Bryant in L.A., Parker will now back up Jason Williams in Miami and play with another megastar, Heat guard Dwyane Wade. For Parker, playing with Wade comes as a relief. "D-Wade is more of a people person than Kobe," Parker said of Bryant, his often-mercurial teammate. "I'm looking forward to jelling with Wade, and playing with him. He's going to be a great teammate."</div> The URL he posted isn't working, I'm guessing he just messed up but here is the link to LG's Link
Smush Parker is the last person who can talk about not being a peoples person. I'm sure he himself remembers the trouble he caused with Phil Jackson in March last season.
He just wants wade to talk to him more... and maybe pass the ball to him so he could flop it more LOL
Smush Parker really talks a lot for someone who sucks so much. He's an idiot. I'll enjoy watching Kobe dunk on him when we play the Heat. I'll also enjoy watching Derek Fisher and Jordan Farmar burn past Smush for an easy layup
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Smush Parker:</div><div class="quote_post">I came to the Heat for the chance to bring a championship back to Miami. We have all the right pieces in place." Parker said. "Whatever they want me to do, I'll do. I'll be a floor leader, a coach on the floor. I'm a point guard; the offense and defense starts with me.</div> When the dude says something like these, you don't take his word too seriously.
Smush Parker has already commented in the past that he was a loner, so why is he now making hypocritical comments about who is or is not a "people person" ? What a fool, just take your money and shut up.

Bit off topic: <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Brian's sig:</div><div class="quote_post">"I came to the Heat for the chance to bring a championship back to Miami. I bet Shaq is gunna sock Smush a couple of times for being so dumb. He is not ment for the NBA. He is the guy at the local courts who can dunk but then gets owned by some guy who comes every couple of months. He needs to learn how to play basketball.
Not really a big deal, it's well documented that Kobe is more of a loner guy anyways, so what he's saying is probably true even though he's never played with Wade. You have to realize the question that was asked to him was probably "What do you think the difference will be playing with Wade in comaprison to Kobe?" The thing that actually strikes me is the nonsense where he says "I'll be a floor leader, a coach on the floor. I'm a point guard; the offense and defense starts with me.". Now that's just weird.
