They almost killed it. Which explains why a 6/10 Dave Chappelle special was praised as a 10. It was a 10 compared to anything recent not made by Bill Burr. Just a 6 for Dave. Still it was refreshing. Eddie destroyed on SNL, I watched the clips about 5 times today. It was like hearing a lost Nirvana album for me
I have no idea, as usual, who you are responding to, but if it's me then let it be known that I drink less than you and use no drugs except what the VA prescribes. They do let me take Tylenol and Melatonin. They test my blood every week or two so I couldn't get by with anything in my blood. If you didn't mean me then just ignore what I just said which will probably come natural for you.
I enjoyed watching the clips and thought Eddie was funny. My brother and girlfriend didn't really think it was as great though, but that is most likely because they weren't familiar with the characters that he was bringing back like I am. Idk if it was epic, but it was good and I'm glad he was able to get back on the show. I hope everything else he plans on rolling out moving forward is better.
