I just saw on ESPN that David Aldridge is reporting that the Sixers have traded Eric Snow to the Cavs for Kedrick Brown and Kevin Ollie. Check ESPNews for more details.

You've got to be shitting me.

Are we looking for the number one pick in the 2005 draft or something?

It's on the Cavs official website too. This is a great trade. I can't believe the Sixers would do this. What is going to happen with Dajuan Wagner now though?

When you say "Great" are you being sarcastic?

I bet you one of them ends up getting waived. [IMG] I'd rather have Willie Green be our PG than Ollie.

Snow's style fits Iverson's style perfectly. He'd gladly set up a play for Iverson and be contented waiting for a kick out pass for the three ball. If it comes, he'll drain it. If not, he wouldn't complain. WIth Iverson, you need a solid PG who doesn't need to shoot to be effective.

I meant to say this is a great trade for the Cavs and their fans, me being one of us. Welcome back home Eric!

Billy King is a &$%*&%$#$##@@ idiot. What the heck is he thinking? All these years and he basically throws him away for 2 scrubs? Well, look at it this way the 76ers pretty much arent gonna do crap this year anyway. So look forward to recieving another lottery pick. God, I get so mad when I hear crap like this.

As a Cavs fan, I feel like I owe y'all an apology. Kedrik Brown might turn out to be a good player.......there still is hope for him. But reports are he reported to summer leauge 20 pounds over weight and has been less then impressive. And Ollie is nothing more then a stiff. Paxon has taken heat for giving him that huge contract since the day he did it. We would have made the playoffs last year if it wasnt for Ollie. And it's good to have E Snow back home. Now we have a guy from Canton and Akron......thats what I'm talkin about.......

Ollie again, and Kedrik! Finally when I thought Billy was getting it through his thick head, this happens. As much as Snow needed to be traded, he need not be traded to the Cavaliers. FIRE BILLY KING!

it was mainly just to get rid of his contract. Lets not all jump on the i hate billy king bandwagon again. Im gonna miss snow, but it was probably time for him to go. The sixers need to worry about giving Daly an extention and korver and willie.

Snow and Lebron are gonna be a great backcourt.

I seriously would have just gave them Snow instead of getting those lame beep scrubs from the Cavs.

Well considering the fact that Snow made about 5 mil per and his contract was going up to 7.3 million and goes up to 2008/2009 and Kedrick contract has two years and one of those years is 2 mil for this year. Also Ollie contract goes up to like 3 mil and is a year less so you can basically see this is a trade for cap room and nothing more I dont see why you guys got mad about this trade snows contract and other players like grob and mckie and kt is keeping us from getting players who are better and should make alot less. I am content with this trade seeing with or without snow we were not gonna win anything in the playoffs anyway.

thats basically what he did do. Eric snow probably wouldn't have played much because Willie Green will play alot this season, and Kevin Ollie im sure wont mind not having much playing time, cuz he is used to it. But he is a decent backup point guard.

Kevin Ollie doesnt have as many years left on his contract as snow, and not as much money. And kedrick browns contract is over after next season? So cap-wise, it is a good deal.

Snow was traded because of his huge contract and to provide more minutes to rising star willi green imo. He showed great promise last season in the sixers games I went to he seemed to look like he was in his third or fourth year in the nba not his rookie season. If he had to come off the bench behind snow and mckie his development would be slowed. Though most of the sixers are always injured bad trade if they get hit by the injury bug.

Kevin Ollie isnt a great player never will be, but he is a solid ball handler with a great assists to turnover ratio. He will provide some what of a teacher for willi green. Next they need to get rid of glenn robinson imo. Give john salmons some more mintues and kyle korver.

It doesn't make sense to trade Snow because of his huge contract, since they just gave it to him in October. King says they get younger with this trade, when Ollie and Snow are the same age, and Brown, well is a bust so even if they get younger with Brown, he would be a huge impact.

Now, after all the screaming is over ...

Kevin Ollie is a hardnosed player who can shoot a little. Snow cannot shoot.
Snow had to go because he was not going to start and he had long and expensive contract. Kedrick Brown ... I have no idea if he will be worth anything or not.

I like the trade. Would I rather have gotten a 7 foot monster ... ? sure.
But you don't always get what you want.

Yeah I'm now starting to realize the facts, it was just at 1st I was really upset due to the fact that it's our homeboy leaving after such a long time. I was kinda shocking at 1st, I'm just so used to seeing him at the point and it will be hard to get used to.
