<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jazz rookie guard Kirk Snyder and veteran guard Jerry Stackhouse of the Dallas Mavericks engaged in a postgame fistfight following Utah's 88-81 loss to the Mavs on Saturday night here. Snyder reportedly was seen bleeding after the fight, which took place in an area of American Airlines Center near where the Jazz's team bus was parked. The Jazz left the arena shortly after the fight, which occurred roughly 20-to-30 minutes after the game's conclusion ? and after Snyder had showered and exited the visitor's lockerroom assigned to the Jazz. The Mavs considered issuing a statement following the game, but owner Mark Cuban later told reporters that the incident was still being investigated. According to a Dallas Morning News report, "there were reports that the fight lasted up to 40 seconds. Security officials from all over American Airlines Center Center rushed to break up the confrontation. Stackhouse was escorted back to the locker room by teammates Josh Howard and Michael Finley." Jazz coach Jerry Sloan did not witness the brawl, but was said to have hurried to the bus afterward so he could speak with the bleeding Snyder.</div> <div align="center">Link</div> Jerry Sloan benched Snyder for poking his tongue at the Rockets bench in a game earlier this season, if the NBA doesn't give Snyder a suspension, then Sloan should give him one.
Damn, wish it happened during the game so we could watch! Nah jk...... but Sloan is gonna bench Snyder a whole season lol
Atleast we know he has some fight in him, now if we could bottle it up in to positive energy on the court.
Humphries: Stackhouse started fight with Snyder <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Fellow Jazz rookie Kris Humphries backs up Kirk Snyder's contention that Mavericks forward Jerry Stackhouse was the aggressor in Saturday night's postgame fistfight, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said Sunday. "From what I understand [after] talking to Kirk and Kris, Stackhouse got into it with [Snyder] and went after him," Sloan said one day after the incident near the loading dock and parking area at American Airlines Center in Dallas. "They both said Kirk was just defending himself." Sloan, who questioned Snyder minutes after security guards and Dallas police officers broke up the fight, heard Humphries' version of events on the team's flight home. Unless he receives new information, Sloan said, the team will take no disciplinary action. That doesn't mean the incident is over, however. The NBA will investigate the fight today, standard league procedure in such cases, Kevin O'Connor said. It's possible that one or both players could be fined or suspended. "The league's security people will interrogate everyone and file a report," said O'Connor, the Jazz's senior vice president of player personnel, who conferred with Sloan on Sunday. "We'll wait until we hear from them." No police report was filed, however, and no criminal charges are likely.</div> <div align="center">Link</div>
