It's one thing that they're only 8-9 but are you aware that TWELVE of those games were at HOME? Things are about to get worse for these duds.

What I have learned many times as a Laker hater; never think they are dead. They have Stern to make damn sure they are one of the top tier teams in the league.

I remembered the year they had a shitty record in the first half of the season; only to come back and win it all. So yeah, I won't make fun until the season is over. Until then, I stay quiet and smirk at every loss.

That never happened. It was 2002-03 that they started out with a bad record. They were several games below .500 halfway into the season. They recovered and got a 4 or 5 seed but they got manhandled by the Spurs in the second round. 28 point buttkicking in Game 6. Kobe cried and then went to Colorado and took it out on a helpless white girl.

During the years that they won it all, they played well during the season. The last time the Lakes truly sucked was 04-05. They didn't make the playoffs. They got the 10th pick and drafted Bynum. The next two seasons, they got bounced in the first round. Good times.

The Lakers have played 12 games at home. We have played 7. We've won 4 road games. They've only won one. We're a decent team. The Lakers are garbage. 12 of 17 games at home and you can't play .500 ball? Fire the coach again?

Who's Oliver. I changed my post, btw. Made it more succinct. The Lakers record is actually worse than ours when looking at schedule.

To be fair, I'd be a lot more upset with our record if we had Kobe, Howard, and Gasol on our team.

Back in October, how many of you would have guessed that after 18 games, the Lakers & Blazers would have the EXACT same record? The Lakers are garbage. Kobe is leading the league in scoring and shooting a career best 49% & you know what? He's not as good as he used to be. I don't care what the stats say, he's a step slower and not nearly as explosive. People used to fear this man - those days are gone. And his defense isn't HALF of what it used to be. I'm so glad I get to watch his decent into mediocrity. It's not going to be pretty (for him, that is!)
