I think they are really interested in Luol Deng. He plays ball in NC, and from what I have heard, Bickerstaff likes him a lot. I think he could do that team a lot of good, he is really basketball smart, and could be a star one day. So I think it is between trading up to get Dwight Howard, or draftin Luol Deng.
I hope we get Deng....However, that probably won't happen because Chicago will snatch him at #3....Instead, we'll probably get Livingston even though Bernie has been quoted as saying that he doesn't want any High Schoolers. However, he also stated that "we want the best man possible." Kind of a contradiction, since the best man possible may be a HS'er! Who knows.....
Well they're trying to package the number 4 pick and the best big man available in the expansion pool for the number 1 pick. Plus it really depends on who they're planning to get in the expansion. I'm not really high on Livingston. They probably won't take a HSer who's name isn't Lebron James to build a team around. I have a feeling that they'll be taking the combo guard, Ben Gordon. If he can show that he can run the show and minimize his turnovers, he'll be a great bet. You have no chance with Deng coz he'll probably be picked by the Bulls. You'll be wasting your 4th pick if you choose Jameer IMHO.
I'd rather you get Gordon, Nelson or Deng. IMO, seeing as Okafor will obviously be taken away as the #1 draft pick. You have these 3, as I've said before, the PG and the C are the two most important positions IMO. The PG sets the game and controls it, whereas the C has the responsibility of handling the defense as well as being one of the more versatile players on in the fray. Those three are my choices simply because they have both the physicality and mentality that is ready for the NBA as well as possibly one of the better potentialities for the draft. Deng is probably the biggest prospect if one considers that. Gordon would be my second choice although he'd probably play as our SG.

I don't know why they get fourth pick they should get the first pick since they are the newest franchise
Who knows, the NBA is mean like that, they never allowed Memphis and Toronto to get the first pick, and they couldn't even get the first pick for three years after they came in the league, at least Charlotte can get it next year. Toronto had the 7th pick when they first came.
We should pursue Shaun Livingston every team needs a good point gaurd and the Bobcats arent going to get some amazing Tim Duncan, or Elton Brand calibre player in the normal or expansion draft so might as well go for the best talent available. Livingston is NBA ready just his weight but in time that will come too. The guy has a pass first mentality which is an extreme rarity these days in point gaurds.
