Let's go down the list (from when I first joined message boards). First it was Chucky Atkins, who just sucked, didn't play defense, called out Kobe, and etc. He didn't last long, and passed the torch to Smush Parker, whom all of us used to bash on constant basis. He's gone. Next came Sasha Vujacic, who bricked everything he shot, and was a wasted pick in the first round. He has since gotten better and has become the Machine, one of the key players for the bench mob. Who's next? Lamar Odom. Remember how he used to pull his disappearing act almost every single game? Well, he has been on an absolute tear lately, dude's been a beast. Alright, the last one was probably Kwame Brown, and I don't think I need to explain myself with that choice. So is it safe to say that Luke Walton is the new scapegoat for this team? It seems like we must always have one no matter what. Even in the championship seasons, I believe Derek Fisher used to be kind of a scapegoat

Btw, I forgot about Brian Cook!

Puke is not a scapegoat or a martyr, he's a flat out clown this year.

Get his horribly inflated contract out of here as soon as possible.

So in essence, he is now in the same rank as the Smush Parkers, Kwame Browns, and Brian Cooks. Cool. Seems like we always have to have a piece of trash on this roster no matter what

Yea pretty much, he won't last long if he continues to play like today.

Sasha is ok now, he's still terribly inconsistent and needs to learn to keep his damn toe off the three point line, that way he stops shooting 22 foot two pointers.

As for Puke, I wouldn't say he's quite reached Cookie or Smushie level, but he could be closing in on it.

I think he's beyond Cook and Smush level. I hate Walton more than I hated Smush. The only thing I hated about Smush was his attitude, offensively he was decent.

Due to the fact that I couldn't stand his attitude at all, Puke still hasn't quite gotten past Smush. Ugh, I remember when Puke was actually decent and a highly important part to our team. Anyone else remember how badly we fell apart after he got hurt last year? Now if he got hurt, big whoop, more time for other players.

    All-time: Smush/Cook
    Now: Luke

    I'm sick of Puke.

I've always hated Puke. I've always thought his basketball IQ was low, I don't know how he got the rep of having high IQ. He's slow, terrible on D, terrible on O, turns the ball over a lot, makes horrid decisions, and just flat out sucks.

Smush had a soft contract, it made me understand his lameness more.

Puke is a contract-year baby that's stuck here.

Smush wasn't that bad, IMO, outside of his attitude. Sure he was a liability on defense...but so is Luke, Fisher, and Farmar. I'd take Smush's offense over Luke's and maybe even over Farmar's.

Personally, I never really thought Smush was all that great on offense. He was a chucker, that's about it. If his jumper was off, he was doomed. He played little to no defense. Did I mention he couldn't hit a FT either? And his decision making, don't get me started there.

While Pukes play is iffy, at least he can make FTs and occasionally set people up for an easy shot. He's also not a locker room cancer like Smush was.

    I think you're right if we're comparing Puke's best to Smush's best.

Right now though, the guy is stealing minutes away from *insert name*.

Lol, how are you going to throw FT% against Smush, when Farmar shoots a ridiculous 67%. They're both terrible FT shooters, and Farmar does just as much chucking as Smush.

Well at least Farmar's not getting 34 minutes a night. And he's more efficient than Smush ever was.

    Smush diluted our team horribly.

I do agree, but I think it was mainly because of his piss poor attitude. I'm not defending Smush or saying he's better than Farmar all around, I just think he received a lot of unwarranted hate for his game...when most of it should've been for his attitude.
