So we struck out on Monroe. Great chance Lamarcus doesn't resign. What the fuck are they doing? in cali really trying to convince him to come back? clock is ticking and free agents are being signed left and right. at least the ones that will make a noticable difference. I am really curious as to what their plan is now and how they even handle this whole Lamarcus thing. Local media is gonna blast them.
Hopefully they softened their crybaby stance on "if want LaMarcus let them create their own capspace" -- your priority should be sbout improving this roster and a s&t is a good option.
Dude, there are a lot of threads already. You couldn't post this in the "If no LMA/Monroe, you play GM" thread?
Planning the press conference where they'll announce that they've signed LaMarcus Aldridge to a long-term max contract.
Would you stop. Your posts are an abomination unto the Lord and that last bikini waxing didn't do you any favors either.
Sign and trade nets you less talent at a huge price. No thanks. Give the youngsters room to develop on the court.
Wook. That ship has sailed. Even if he re-signs, his indecision has crippled this team's ability to attract free agents.
First post and it's purely speculative but isn't DJ and LMA still a viable outcome? DJ is an olshey guy much in the same line as Aminu. Monroe could easily been tipped that Por was heading in a different direction with DJ and decided to move on just as much as Monroe heard LMA was off to Spurs or PHX.
I could see them scrambling to get a meeting with DJ, but I doubt he'll even give them the time of day.
It’s to a point where I’d rather have a "trader bob" type of GM. WE definitely not getting anyone in the free agency ever. But now we don’t even have anyone to trade. It will be a long several years
I bet Olshey is offering the max to kanter as we speak. Not sure how I feel about him. I'm not as down on him as some but I wouldn't say I'm excited about the possibility either.
