So what's our cap space?

Starting July 1st if we do not renounce Aldridge and Matthews?

After the trades, we got 3 mil extra space right? So according to the cap holds, since I'm just guessing here, is $11 mil without renouncing Aldridge and Matthews.

 

itd take away a million of roster holds and combined they're at $21M so it'd be about $13M

 

So we actually have an opportunity to trade for a lopsided max player using our cap space and maybe Leonard and CJ? Like Boogie Cousins?

Or Noah and cap space? Like is cap space excluded for the single player trade for a just traded player?

 

I don't understand what you and that trade would leave us with 0 depth if we wanted to resign Wes

I would, it just make things tricky. You couldn't trade Noah with them, so I'd give them CJ, Crabbe, Meyers, a 2018 1st, and a 2022 1st for Cousins and Landry. I'd trade Vonleh and Henderson for Wilson. That leaves us with $3M in cap space to use for Gerald Green. We could sign CJ Watson for the cap exception ($3M)

Chandler / Green
Aldridge / Landry
Cousins / Plumlee
Green could play SG and SF.
Now that, while not all to likely (but not impossible), is a real needle mover
