I would rather have Cam Cameron at OC, after fireing Mularky. Then keep Dom Capers at DC and dont try him at HC. Ive heard that we might make an offer to Pete Carrol, but I dont really think its worth it to go after another College HC. I guess right now our best options are like you said Cam Cameron and Jim Mora Jr, and hopefully maybe Gruden if Tampa Bay lets him go. Idealy, I would like. John Gruden/Jim Mora Jr - HCCam Cameron - OC Dom Capers - DC
If I was the Dolphins id make my pitch for Charlie Weis, but I doubt he would leave Notre Dame for them. I just think it'd be fun having Mangini, Weis, and Belicheck in the same division. Seriously though, I think Cam Cameron will make for a good coach, Ron Rivera would make a good coach, but the guy I think Miami should hire is Jim Bates, their former defensive coordinator. The guy has been a good coach for as long as I've seen him go, and they gave him a raw deal after hiring Wannstedt when he should have gotten the Head Coaching gig full time. They can fix that wrong now.

He knows our GM, Randy Mueller well, Huizenga is a hands off owner, Unlike Jerry Jones and he was intrested in this job in 03.Cowher is another option, as well as Wisenhunt. There are alot of coaches out there.

Not to mention Parcells almost always takes a year off in between jobs, so I could see him doing that and that with Parcells history of only coaching for a few years before he gets board and moves on, I doubt the Dolphins would want to hire him as a temporary fix.I expect Cowher to take a year off as he admits to being pretty much burnt out after 15 seasons in Pittsburgh and Wisenhunt will most likely get the Pittsburgh job (Which IMO is the best coaching job in football because of the Job Security).
Cohwer also left due to money issues, the Rooneys have been said to be very cheap and Cowher expected more money after winning the SB and he didnt get it. I think he will definatly be coaching again, just not this season. If we really wanted him we would have to give up a lot, like a 2nd and 3rd this year, maybe a 1st next year and another later on. The Bucs had to give up a lot to get Gruden. I really dont think Cowher is interested in Miami though. As for Wisenhunt, Ive heard Russ Grimm is the front runner for the Steelers job so who knows with him. For Parcells, I think Mueller would definatly give him complete control since he gave it to Saban. Ive heard that Parcells has always kept the Miami coaching job in high esteem, but never could do it after Shula. I also think that he wouldnt leave Dallas so soon. I would still like to see him here though because he is a great coach. There are a lot of options as of now, from what Ive heard were going to talk to:Chan Gailey - HC of Georgia Tech, former Dolphins OC.Rex Ryan - DC of the Ravens. Mike Tomlin - DC of Vikings. Ken Wisenhunt - OC of Steelers. Ron Rivera - DC of Bears. Turner - OC of Bears Mike Martz - Former Rams HCMike Sherman - former Pack HC Cam Cameron - OC of Chargers Ive also heard we will not be contacting Weiss.
I think Mike Sherman is the best option. He's who I wanted the Jets to get before we got Mangini (who I knew little about at the time).

I think headlines tomorrow will read, " Chan Gailey hired as Miami Dolphins Head Coach, Mike Shula hired for Offensive Coordinater. Ive read that Chan is the front runner, Id like to see Cam Cameron though. Well, I was wrong. The reports keep changing now Cam Cameron is the front runner and just finished his second interview. For a little it looked like he was out of the picture but im guessing that was only beause of the Chargers still playing. Now they are saying we should have a new coach in 24-48 hours, by saturday the LATEST.
