Does Tyner get his 5th star back or what???? I think he should get a 6th star after that performance!!! What other high school player in the US got on the top 10 plays of the day and or weekend for ESPN!!!??!! 600+ yards and 10 TD's should make you the best RB in the nation hands down! Let's not even throw in he's the fastest kid in high school football!
the given reason by rivals for him slipping from 5 to 4* was injury concerns not talent. If he stays healthy through this season those concerns would seem to be answered, so.... I'm recalling a recent quote from a poster here that went..."My gut tells me Tyner is injury prone. A Greg Oden if you will. The best running back we never had!" STOMP
Just like with a healthy Oden, Tyner is a lottery pick for every level he plays in no question, when he's HEALTHY!! So far he needs to make a whole year and yes for every person with a brain and a sports background that has even called Ptown home for a year, the thought of a sure thing has to give you the need for the industrial size pepto in a big gulp cup! That said I can't wait to see a healthy Tyner and DAT crushing teams next year!! In the back of my mind that's why I think Green is still flirting with the Ducks and visa versa.... He's amazing insurance for that exact reason! If we had a healthy never injured Tyner... Green would have already gone elsewhere. BTW- If Tyner's not playing stars really don't matter at all do they? His play warrants a 5 for sure!
I highly doubt Tyner's injury history has anything to do with a player keeping Oregon on their list. The Ducks are pretty stacked at RB right now even without Tyner.
I would agree except when talking about the top 3 RB's in the nation in my eyes which are Green, Tyner and Isac.... If Tyner does gets hurt again, Green would likely be the featured back here in Oregon if he chose us next year, as DAT will not be used as a four down back and Barner will be on to the NFL. Green is that good!! That said something tells me Green in a Vol.... Good for Tennessee if they get him! Great School, Great Fans and Knoxville is an amazing college town! They need a lift there since Lamo crapped on their program!
