game sites. No stadium. This City needs to decide what it wants to be, Big Town attraction or Big City relevant!
These are all NFL stadiums. We need to get an NFL team first, then we can worry about the World Cup. The cities officially selected to host World Cup matches in the U.S. are: New York/New Jersey (MetLife Stadium); Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium); Dallas (AT&T Stadium); San Francisco Bay Area (Levi's Stadium); Miami (Hard Rock Stadium); Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz Stadium); Seattle (Lumen field); Houston (NRG Stadium); Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field); Kansas City, Missouri (Arrowhead Stadium); Boston (Gillette Stadium).
Well, its too small to host a major event like a World Cup game. I mean this is probably bigger than the NBA all star weekend.
Portland’s pushing 2.6m metro. It’s not small - it’s just too close to Seattle, which is now right at 4m metro.
