From Today's Miami papers; Feeley made significant strides toward supplanting incumbent Jay Fiedler by leading the Dolphins (1-2) on two scoring drives, including the first touchdown of the preseason by either the first- or second-team offense. Recently acquired receiver Marty Booker started for the Dolphins, playing most of the first half, and caught two passes for 25 yards. ''I knew that I would get some playing time, but I didn't expect to play so much,'' said Booker, who added that he knows about '80 percent' of the offense. . . . Ricky Williams was supposed to be in town tonight as a presenter at the MTV Video Music Awards. Of course, he was also supposed to be the Dolphins' chief offensive weapon this year. He backed out of both commitments.
the best part though, is that after Feeley lead the offense to its only TD of the preseason, and looks good in his 3rd straight preseason game, Wanny states that the QB's are "about even" in thier competition....and here it comes, hes setting us up for the Fiedler factor...now we are just a few weeks away from hearing, "both QBs played well this preseason, the reason im starting Fiedler is because hes been in the offense longer, hes more comfortable"....
Dave was supposed to name the starter before the 3rd preseason game which was last night. We all know its Jay unfortunatley. The question remains; Why has Dave been yanking phins fans around this long??

Hes holding the annoucement to give Feeley a c hance to fall on his face and make his job easier, he knows Fiedler is his starter, but he cant announce it while Feeley is playing so well
