They could use some help on the O-Line and three starting QBs this year and I still don't know if they have one. Is JT O'Sullivan, Shawn Hill, or Alex Smith really the answer? Their biggest weakness though was a lack of a pass-rush and secondary coverage. These two needs go hand in hand and if you fix one, the other looks good as well. With the top 4 OTs off the board, they could go DE or OLB here, but they couldn't and wouldn't pass on Matt Stafford here. Stafford might just be the most NFL ready and best overall QB in the draft. They would be getting huge value here at #10 and will finally have a true signal caller to build around.
