Iv'e read that some new faces maybe appearing New York, some of these include Vinny Testaverde, Drew Bledsoe, Chris Hovan, and Samari Rolle, anybody else here of any others? Though Im a Packers Fan I have to route for the Jets when the Bengals and Packers are out of the Playoffs, so I hope to see them get some good additions this offseason.
Chris Hovan may not be the best addition for any team unless he figures out what he is doing wrong. He's not very good in run situations and hasn't had the pass rushing abilities that he had his rookie year.
uhhh i dont think Vinny will be on the team. hes done as a Jet. Drew Bledsoe i doubt he doesnt want to be a backup and if he joins the Jets then he will be a backup. unless Pennington's injury is really really bad. hope not. They might keep Carter for another couple of years. They wont get either of those guys though. Rolle would be a great addition but hes had some legal problems. At the right price it would be great, thats who i'm hoping for. I think they really have to go for cornerbacks, they lost out to Winfield last year, (still fuming about that) they gotta get Rolle.
Is Chris Hovan a DT? I'm not sure, I have heard of him but never actually known what position he played.
yes hes a DT and was on the Vikings. he hasnt done very good in the last few years so hes not really the guy you want on a team. Besides the Jets have Dewayne Robertson who is emerging as a top DT. and josh evans has been injured but he is good. Hopefully we can sign Jason Ferguson back. If not the maybe Hovan is something the jets have to go for. idk
