Even if some of those comments seem surprising at first, they are understandable. TMac looks like he's broken down. He's constantly hobbled and can no longer play at a high level with any sort of consistency. The two games after he the Blazer game on Thursday, he had 2pts (had a cold apparently ) and then 3pts last night against the Lakers (1/11FG).

Just watching him on the floor, he looks a step slow. Or two. I'd be frustrated as hell if I were a Rocket fan.

I wrote a suggested trade in that thread, though I'm doubtful the Blazers would accept it. Still, what do you think:
T-Mac for Fernandez, LaFrentz, and Outlaw or
T-Mac for Fernandez, LaFrentz, and Webster

Even though T-Mac has his health problems, he's proven the last couple years that he can carry an under-talented team to the playoffs. The Blazers are a talented team with more athletic finishers, and they're in search of their first playoff birth ... they could benefit from T-Mac's shot creation abilities.

    What do you think?

I agree. T-Mac can still bring it, but not as often as he used to. I fail to see how picking him up makes us a better team.

My guess is that fans of almost every team in the league would like to have Rudy.

Tracy isn't the same player he once was. There is just no way KP even thinks about packaging Rudy for T-Mac.

Sorry, but we're just find and dandy (like cotton candy) with Rudy F. and what he brings. The guy is going to be a star.

What does T-Mac give us (shot creation?) that Roy or Rudy don't? He's not an elite defender and is on the downswing of his career, not to mention he's pretty much a chucker. Rudy with his small contract is much more valuable.

It gives us someone else the defense has to guard. No way you could double team our players once Greg gets back

Running out a team of Roy, Rudy, McGrady, Aldridge and Oden woul dbe really hard to guard against because all players can score. The great thing about this is also that Batum and come in for any of the 3 wings because 2 of them can run the point.

OMFG I have not laughed that hard in a LONG time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WoW!!!!!! Dude... T-Wack is not worth anyone on our roster. I wouldn't trade Sergio for him. T-Wack is done and over. He has nothing left. Worthless. A proven LOSER. Not a winner. Does NOT fit our culture. Absolutely disgusting trade idea.

I've seen more ridiculous trade ideas around here before...but I was probably the only one laughing for most of those.
