Some tool on ESPN is saying that the addition of Tanaka has improved the Yankees from a 5th place team to a 4th place team... I know they aren't perfect but 5th to 4th? Really?
Saw that....some Bill James statomatic accolyte playing a simulated season. Haters are gonna hate. ESPN has lost all objective media contributors, that network jumped the shark 10 years ago, about the same time the Grace Cloud's arrived.
Saw that myself, poor assessment in light of the fact that the outfield has been improved with power and defense, the infield is a plug in that can play defense and hit some and a catcher who's got power plus game calling ability that improves the staff. Overall a much better unit than the '13 "Dumpster Team" that hung on to the end. I think that the remaining concerns will be addressed prior to opening day. I'm looking forward to this team, really pulling for Roberts whom I've always liked and Jeter to catch mucho lightening in a bottle.
I mean the IF & bullpen are question marks, but this team is better than last year in just about every area other than closer & 2B....
Double post....the latter being from "theghostof59". Yuuuup, those were some haughty days on the interwebs. So the mods know that the username jonahfalcon isn't allowed, right?
