Presti declined to answer questions specifically related to Kidd, but Presti said the team's 14-game losing streak that ended Tuesday hasn't altered his belief that it is on the right course. ....with Lakers out, price tag just dropped........then again, Thorn will just hang onto the malcontent, hopefully lose enough to get a top 10 pick. Hope Kidd sticks to his guns and really wants out enough....enough to opt out.
Losing the Lakers hurts, but picking up the Knicks and Trailblazers has been solid. I had no idea the Sonics were considering the trade; what title are they gonna win anytime soon?
I'm not surprised the Lakers dropped out. They probably would have had to part ways with Odom and that's not really something they can do seeing as how they're already thin on frontline players. If Bynum is healthy, I'm sure the Lakers look more into the trade, but with him out, they need Odom more than Kidd I think.
I'm surprized the Lakers dropped out. HOF pointguard or Lamar Odom seems pretty obvious which one I'd take.
If LA was 100% healthy I think they would consider the trade but given there mounting injuries I don't think they can afford to get send us the talent we require without completley draining any depth they have.
