Yeah, the Spurs made things easier on them, shooting a positively Shaquilicious 55.9 percent from the stripe, but on a night when the Wiz couldn't turn O'Neal's absence into a win, the Sonics stood up and held off San Antonio, 92-91. They played playoff ball in all its ragged, desperate glory. They played ugly and aggressive, like there was no tomorrow, and in the end it was enough to notch a win and make a series of the series. </div>Source Great article showing the Supes some love...
If we haven't gotten any credit by now we aren't going to get any. That is fine by me b/c I think our team thrives off of that. This is a great group of prideful guys. They haven't laid down all season. There were times when we were extremely out of sync and were looking for excuses, but normally when that happen someone would step up and help us get over the hump. Last night it was AD, Big Game, and Pot (on defense). Who knows who it will be on Sunday. This continues to be an unbelievable season for the Supes and we have another opportunity to prove our doubters wrong on Sunday. Keep the criticism coming.
Good read, thanks for posting it, d00d. Yeah, Sheik. Build off of criticism, fight to prove them wrong - a common means of boosting effort and gaining motivation. The more it comes the more motivation. It's always a thrill to see the people of the media admitting they were wrong with their heads down if/when they're proven wrong. Again, it was a really nice read. I look forward to a good game on Sunday.
