K-Smoove has a game under his belt and I think he'll be shooting the ball a little better today. Gelabale should be playing tonight. He didn't play in the last game due to a sprained ankle. I hope to see a better showing from Petro.

As far as the Knicks go, I'm too lazy to look up their roster. I know that Nate Robinson and Renaldo Balkman are on the squad. The game is gonna be on NBATV and NBA.com will have live webcasts. For some reason they black the games out here in Seattle (and other cities) but there's a way to get around that. There are instructions on Sonicscentral.

Anyway, should be fun watching Durant play.

Durant looking crappy so far, 2 for 11 or something at the half. Jeff Green had a nice first half though but this team looks terrible out there. Tre Simmons is sucking for NY too.

Man Durant got shut down. Don't worry Sonics fans eventually that shot will fall, nerves are getting to him. Being a Blazer fan though I am glad Oden had the better performance in there second games :$

I have said this before though, Summer League means NOTHING, Durant will be great in time.

Durant goes 4-19 today, 8-8 from the line scoring 18 points. Most of his shots are falling short. Green played better today and showed some athleticism. As far as the team goes, they're pretty crappy. No ball movement at all. They finished with 7 assists total.

It was funny to see Tre Simmons airball a layup. He was pretty bad.

He just needs to keep shooting it, it will fall eventually.

Nice to see him getting to the line anyhow. Who is coaching the team this year?

Kevin Durant was absolutely atrocious yesterday and I was quite disappointed. While I understand summer league is a poor indicator of a player's success on the next level, it’s still not a good sign to see a player struggle, especially the heavily touted second overall pick. I was also surprised on how many times Durant got blocked. For someone 6’10” with a ridiculously long 7’5” wingspan, it’s unacceptable to have gotten blocked so many times. Frankly, I thought it was pure laziness on his part; adding credence to this is the fact he only grabbed one rebound in both of his summer league games playing 30 and 34 minutes respectively. Again, with such size and athleticism, this is unacceptable. There were also many times which he outmatched someone on the Knicks in size and athleticism, but he failed to take it to the basket. Instead, he decided to settle for that long midrange, step back jumper, which really wasn’t effective (as his 4-19 FG% showed). Furthermore, it is alarming that in two games, Durant is yet to log an assist playing in 30+ minutes.

trading Ray Allen was a mistake.... teams will kill Durant in regular season.

Kevin Durant could be averaging 30 a game in the summer league. With the roster that is currently constructed I don't believe we will win more than 30 games.

Moreso than anything I am disappointed in his rebounding. How can you only have two rebounds in two games? Durant will figure it out eventually. Hopefully Sam Presti can too.

Why is Kevin Durant playing guard in these games?
