Sooners demolish Arkansas by 70 points! http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketbal...0031202_ARPB@OK <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Tuning up for a big game, No. 14 Oklahoma overwhelmed Arkansas-Pine Bluff 94-24 Tuesday night in coach Kelvin Sampson's most lopsided win in 10 seasons with the Sooners. The Sooners (4-0) didn't have to break much of a sweat while preparing for Saturday's showdown at No. 5 Michigan State. The 24 points were the fewest by an Oklahoma opponent in 60 years. Oklahoma led 48-9 at halftime. When UAPB's Jamaal Bibles hit a 3-pointer early in the second half that put his team into double-digits, the crowd cheered wildly for the overmatched Golden Lions. De'Angelo Alexander scored 19 points for the Sooners. Kevin Bookout had 14, Jason Detrick 13 and Jabahri Brown 12. The Sooners limited the Golden Lions (0-4) to just nine field goals and 21 percent shooting. Arkansas-Pine Bluff is playing 11 of its first 12 games on the road, and has lost its first four games by an average of 38 points. </div> In the words of Dick Vitale ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Losing by 70 points is a complete embarassment no matter who you are.
As soon as I saw Arkansas in the title my draw dropped, but then I realized you meant Arkansas Pine Bluff. I was oddly dissapointed. While still a great story, imagine if they beat Arkansas by seventy points.
70 freakin points? Man, a freshman highschool lacrosse team could put up more points than that. That is a complete embarrasment. The coach might be on the hotseat after that loss.
Wow, that's about all I can say. First, how do you manage to get pounded so badly? I mean, Oklahoma is a very good team, but, no one should be hammered so badly. And how do you only put up 24 points in a freaking game? That's horrible. Complete embarassing.
