Sosa tested positive in 2003

    I think it was you who said that you thought Sosa was clean.

    Maybe it was Denny.

    I said there is no proof that Sosa took steroids so he shouldn't be branded a roider.

    But this obviously changes everything. It's a shame that Griffey Jr. is probably the only clean one from that era. He's a good player and all, but didn't have anywhere close to the excitement of Sosa, McGwire, and Bonds.

    It'll be interesting to see who else washes up from the list. Piazza, Thome, and Pujols are some obvious candidates.

    I'd wait until a confession or the list being released. Because before the Mitchell Report was released, there were articles about how Sosa was named in the report, and those reports never came to fruition when the Mitchell Report was actually released.

    I don't understand why they don't just release the entire list, rather than just opportunely going after players. Although since the A-Rod rumor ended up being true, there is a 99.999% chance of this one turning out true as well.
