Agreed SC - I think they can get Raymond for 2-2.5m. Maybe 2 years/4.5-5. He played 1 year/1m last year in Tor Pouliot will get 3/9
Had a good year but is very replaceable and was also playing to save his career. Have to let him go at that price.
I don't like Pouliot getting more than 2 years tops. If he gets 3 years ffrom Ottawa or Pitt, so be it. If his cap hit is more than low 2's so be it as well. I wouldn't go 5 mill for 2 years given our cap situation.
And for the record I really liked the Pouliot signing last summer, but he is not going to suddenly explode with a 2 or especially a 3 year contract. I can see him getting lazy on a 3 year deal. I think he is a 15 or so goal 35 or so point guy max, and won't ever be much better than that.
