ESPN - According to baseball sources, the Red Sox are very agressively shopping Manny Ramirez, as his value has never been higher. "I wouldn't be shocked if the Red Sox traded him by Saturday," says one big league official. The Red Sox are expected to sign J.D. Drew by Saturday and will then be ready to deal Ramirez. The Dodgers are the only team I would like to see Manny dealt too. Apperantly they would have a similar deal like Tigers did with the Yankees/Sheffield. We would get three prospects and cash in return for Manny. The three prospects would be Andy LaRoach a third baseman (Adam LaRoach's little brother who is supposed to be 10X better than Adam), outfielder Matt Kemp, doesn't really help us that much, we already have a buttload of outfielders. Also a reliever Chad Billingsley would be thrown into that deal. That would be a great deal for us. I heard the Rangers talk has pretty much ended, Theo wanted Michael Young for Manny, obviously Texas wouldn't do that. Also I don't know who the hell the Giants or Orioles would give up for Manny...they don't have jack to begin with.
