Wow, what a 1-2 scoring punch Melo and Kobe would be. With a devolping Nene, and a healthy Camby, this team can be a serious contender.
Well it's everybody job as a GM to go pursue the best free agent possible, but a plane trip to meet with Kobe wasn't neccessary at all. Kobe won't go to Denver. let's open up our minds for a bit. After everything Kobe has gone through in that state with the court appearances, to being accused of rape, to the racial stupidity, to playing in an arena where you're not wanted at the Pepsi Center, Kobe is going to throw all that aside and play for the Nuggets? Not happening. It's either the Lakers or the Clippers from here on out.
The same article says that the Nuggets are looking at Carlos Boozer, which would be really bad, as he is one of the most important Cavaliers.
