Gutsy move that could back fire if Dallas doesn't improve their O line play.

I think he needs to take the week off, personally. I'd rather him rest and get healthy than play hurt.

Exactly. I think Brad can beat the Rams, and I still don't trust our O-Line to protect Romo now.

Same here Romo can take the day off so he can better but the bye week is coming up and that should also help him. The O line needs some adjustment. Let Romo start and then take him out.

He can take the Bye week off. While this may not be the smartest thing, he's our QB and he wants to win. He probably also wants to see how Owens and Williams play together.

Its a ballsy move, but there's going to be a target on his back... pinky.

I'd be a little worried really but it is commendable that he wants to attempt this.

Shake I don't know if I told you, but your sig is ill.

As for Romo, this is almost as silly as Shaq's big toe complaint. As they said on SportsCenter last night he should have just told the public that it was a hand injury.

It sounds weak but I could see how it could affect his throwing of course. Maybe waiting for that swelling to go down would help him in the long term as well. I'm not an expert on this specific injury though. : ]

Thanks man, I love the Boondocks. I have a Riley one too, I'll bring it out one day.

If it's just his pinky, can't he wrap it up. Just tape it to his ring finger or something. He won't be throwing bombs, but short routes and a lot of running plays will be the Cowboys' game plan.

I agree, but didn't Kobe play with a hurt finger? He never whined about it either. Sometimes I think its the athlete that determines how well they will play and not the injury. The Cowboys will quickly be in turmoil (with all this Pacman Jones crap and other things) and if Romo chooses to throw in the towel on this season this "injury" will be the perfect excuse.

Why would Romo choose to throw in the towel on this season?

    What?

This is a pretty dumb post, all in all...

I can't state it to a 100% certainty.... but I am willing to bet taping your pinky to your ringer finger isn't a recipe for success when throwing the ball.

Dunno. If your pinky is swollen and unable to bend, it makes gripping the ball harder, thus making it a lot harder to throw, which will in turn affect your accuracy.

I've gone golfing with a fractured finger. It affected my grip, thus affecting my swing, thus affecting my ball flight. Sharp, shearing pains everytime I swung.

I didn't shoot my best that day.

    Probably just a coincidence.

I didn't say Romo had to bomb the ball, but short passes. I've done it. I know it's at a different level, but it's possible. And I've used a CFL ball which has like a 200 cm Diameter.

No. The awesome logic you implied made it a pretty worthless post.

Why would Romo throw in the towel on the season? Hell, he wants to play.
