With the NBA draft quickly approaching, the 76ers and new general manager, Sam Hinkie, are getting a closer look at a few prospects. That even includes a few Big 5 players.

The Sixers will work out Temple guard Khalif Wyatt, a Norristown native, before the June 27 draft. St. Joe’s C.J. Aiken, from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, also will work out for the Sixers, according to a source.

Temple and South Philly product, Scootie Randall, visited with the Sixers last week, according to a report.

Reports indicate the Sixers have held workouts for Duke’s Mason Plumlee and Gonzaga center Kelly Olynyk. The team also hosted UCLA guard Shabazz Muhammad, N.C. State sharpshooter Scott Wood and big man Norvele Pelle. Louisville’s Peyton Siva and Kentucky's Archie Goodwin also have worked out for the Sixers.

The Sixers have the 11th overall pick in this month’s draft. They also have the 35th and 42nd picks in the second round.
