New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas is scheduled to meet with Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday in Pensacola, Fla., to determine the severity of the injury to his surgically repaired right ACL. But doctors who have examined Thomas so far do not believe he has a torn ACL and are optimistic he may play again this season, a source familiar with the situation told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
