What do you guys think about this guys that are no Superstars but are better than an Average player? They are perfect for trades because Franchise won't be very affected and Franchise can get a really good deal from them.

Some great examples are: Jim Jackson(Currently playing with the Houston Rockets)

and on his way to be another Jim Jackson is Keith Van Horn(Now with the Bucks.)

Those are players that usually make the starting line-up or are candidates for 6th man of the year.

But I'm sure in each team there is a guy like that ...which is not known because he barely plays now that he is in a team with a bad coach and management staff.

A player I know is Shammond Williams... 8 years in the league and has been in 5 teams. He barely plays with the Orlando Magic (I honestly can't think of a reason why)

He can do just about anything only disadvantage could be his size which I think is like 6'1 but even with that size he's even got some crazy dunks , besides shooting 3's under pressure or finishing around the basket with style , or getting other players involved. Not to mention his cousin is the one and only Kevin Garnett.

Does your team have a player like this? What do you think about this players? I hate it , is not fair...but at the end is all Business.

that's pretty cool shammond williams is kg's cousin, who do u think wins in one on one games during the family reunions?

anyways i don't if the bulls have a player like this, but maybe jyd (only 3 teams though: detroit, toronto, chicago) - brings a 110% effort on the court, i never knew he was this good until i saw him play w/ the bulls, he's a hustler baby..

Haha I'm sure it was a good matchup a 7 footer against a 6'1 ..you could think 6'1 player was too fast for the 7'0 player but when the 7-footer plays like he was 6'5 lol...that's awesome.

Who's that? lol.. I can't find any guy starting with the letter J other than Crawford and Jerome Williams..

Kevin Ollie for the Cavs. Does everything well for the most part, but doesn't have any one part of his game that stands out and makes him special. Everyone that he's played for seems to love him, yet he is always bouncing around.

KVH the next Jim Jackson? That's insulting to Jim, he has no effort and takes ridiculous shots, he's like a really bad Walker or NVE. I think he's a mediocre player but I just had to mention him. He has such effort, hustle and defense that he had to be mentioned. He's like Big Ben, not really any offensive presence.

He's one of the workhorses of the NBA along with Madsen and Malik Rose. They're all just such hard workers and Madsen and Malik are above average in my eyes.

Lately it's been two players I saw very little of. A Raptor and a Sonic. As for whom, Antonio Daniels, he just is much like the smaller batch of players in the league contesting and fighting against the league's biggest and finest. With what he does and puts in he does so well. Secondly is Alvin Williams, he just is so clutch and puts in so much effort. He has to be mentioned.

I think a special mention is in order however. No doubt he's better then avergae and good at that. A very good player in the league, due to his size he has to put in 110% as he does all the time and performs well. That man is Earl Boykins.

Van Horns costs 14 millions and 15 next year, he isn?t a franchise player but to be an "special" player he charges too much. But yes, he is more than an average player.

Aaron "Train" Williams for us. He's an undersized Center even in the East and he always does a good job backing up for us. He did a great job when Twin was out with an injury. He'll give you hustle, rebounds and he's almost automatic with his jumper from the FT line.

Agree with redscoon about Kevin Ollie, he's a great player for the Cavs, does everything right, but are not counted by many as a over averrage player, only people that know about him!

You know we got to mention to mention Lucious Harris. He has been a big part of our bench for the last past 7 seasons. He has been here thru the bad years & now the good years. He is the key part to our bench core. And this season we have ask him to play both backcourt positions off the bench because Zoran Planinac isnt really ready to play big minutes off the bench. Lucious can usually always be counted on to step up big when Kerry is struggling. This season has been the best for Lu but that doesnt take away what he has meant to the nets over the years imo. And last year when Kerry was injured at the beginning of the season Lu step right in & gave us double digits every night which allowed us to win. And with the way we finished the regular season last year, all those early wins seem alot important now then they did then.

Kirk Hinrich is definitely one, yet he's still a rookie. You'll be hearing his name all over in the next couple of years. Unless he isnt given the credit because Lebron and Carmelo will always be overshadowing him and all the other rookies

Yup. Thanks. Although he's not doing well lately, he'll be a big boost for the playoffs. He can still hit shots after shots if he's hot.

I think Jason Richardson and Ronald Murray. They are not yet superstars but they are better than average. These two players will come up big in the future.

Oh I also forgot to mention Corey Maggette and Doug Christie. Doug Christie makes great defensive plays thats aren't apparent in his stats.
