Who do you guys think has the advantage in special teams in this matchup? I haven't watch that many kings games this postseason . I know the rangers PP has been pretty good lately and there PK aswell. in PK we rank the best pretty much cuz im not counting flyers against struggling rangers PP, but we have allowed 11 goals the kings have allowed 17, our % is 86% and theres is 81% we have 1 SHG the kings have 0. the kings have leading 17 PPG (in 21 games which is the most) and we have 11 PPG in 20 games (but we struggled for the 0-40 slump) the kings are at 25% which is extremely good come playoffs and we are 13.6%. I'm looking at it from middle of pitts and MTL series and our PP isn't as bad as that. I would give us the slight advantage here, ill tell you why. Our PK is better but there PP is better, Defense wins championships and that will level out. Our PP is better then there PK. WE have hank they have quick which is a wash, but the most important factor is they take way more penalties then us. If we only go to the box say 2 times a game they probably will go 4-5 times, hence we have the edge. Agree/disagree? LETS CHAT
As Struds has pointed out we are the better team in playoffs 5 on 5. Just stay out of the box and I think they win this series.
That is a huge key dis, because IMO I think special teams favor them because their PP is clearly better than ours. So stay out of the box...yes.
