Imagine if the victorious team were to be able to take one player from the team they just beat as they advance...sort of a Spoils of War; who would the Blazers take from the Clippers?

    Jordan?

    Crawford?

    Rivers?

Definitely jordan. Hes the best player they have left.

If i felt like we didnt need another big (i dont) it would probably be jj redick as choice #2.

I think we need a guard, because if we lose to the warriors they probably take Dame or CJ.

Clarification: you don't keep the opposing team's player forever, you simply reap the spoils (pick one player) to take along with you as you advance into the playoffs.

    OKC would now add Dirk?
    Warriors would now add Harden?
    Spurs now add Zbo?
    Blazers add Jordan?

    Cavs add Drummond?
    Hawks add Thomas?

And put up with the Hack-A?

Give me another three point shooter off the bench. JJ Redick would feast for us.

I gained so much respect for him. That guy is a tough son of a bitch (cough* Glenn cough*) and I genuinely felt bad for the guy when he was doing the post game interviews.

The fact that Glen wasn't there for his kid makes me despise him even more.

I would have gone Rivers, but I'm not sure he can maintain the shooting he showed against us, but mostly, one more shot to the face (let's call it an "accident") and he's down for the count. I'd hate to see that happen. I did like his defense and tanacity and competitiveness. Gotta have that on your team in the playoffs.

Agree, A. Rivers was my first thought. He is going to develop into a starter that makes a positive impact on both ends of the floor.

? What is the incentive for the captured player to play hard for your team? My guess is, any captured player would undermine your team in the playoffs before he goes back to his own team? You just beat his team, and put half the roster in the hospital.

This sounds like an idea for a video game that uses only stats, with no human element taken into consideration.

Well of course it is all make-believe and for fun but some of them would play hard because some of these picked up players are going to win a championship when they wouldn't have sniffed one otherwise.

Rivers has really improved his game. Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see Crawford on another team next year and Rivers will be the 6th man for the Clippers next season.
