Hey everyone i need some ideas for things to do in a sports club. I work in a Library and we have some clubs set up, one lady has a knitting club, another has a manga club. So i thought why not make a sports club so that men and women sports fans can come to the library and talk sports. I am just trying to bring a more male based clientale to the library system. What should i have in the sports club (keep in mind its a library so i have to keep it appropriate lol). I already know i am going to set up fantasy leagues for various sports. Thanks

Have a female model club. That way you can draw hot chicks into the library.

Say you'll be discussing beach volleyball, that'll bring the guys in.

Seriously, though, just get the word out about a sports club where you'll debate certain topics, or even discuss coaching systems and plays. Then you'll get some coaches and players coming in wanting to gain tactical information.

On the first few meetings you could run people through different plays, in whichever sport you want. Then get people to discuss things. Later on you could talk about alternatives or plays that members design themselves, kind of troubleshooting their designs. But ensure it's a friendly tone, not 'arguments' just debates.

Play sports video games. Nascar, NBA, NHL, MLB, Madden, FIFA. Lots of possibilities.

Couches. TV. Chips and dip. That's all that's necessary.
