There are 4 big sports sites that go to the extent of showing depth charts for every NBA team: ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sportsline, and Yahoo. All 4 of these have consistently shown J.R. Smith as the starting shooting guard for the Nuggets since the start of the year. Yet Smith has not started a single game of the 7 the Nuggets have played and, were it not for garbage time, his minutes would belimited. Yakhouba Diawara, who is shown 2nd on the depth charts, and Linas Kleiza have been starting. So I am checking if anyone on this forum knows which is more true:
A. The sports media world can not imagine that Yakhouba Diawara or Linas Kleiza should start over J.R. Smith, so they refuse to change the depth charts even though Smith does not start. In other words, they can not understand whatCoach George Karl is doing here.
B. The sports media world is just notsmart or hard working enough to keep the depth charts accurate; they should have updated them by now to show Yak as the starter.
Anyone know?
