According to this source Sprewell is comin back to the Wolves.

" Several sources are confirming that Wolves' guard Latrell Sprewell will return to the lineup. Amidst the contract-carping that ensued last season's cataclysmic performance, GM Kevin McHale ensures a breakout year from Sprewell.

''I've always loved the man's game. Let's not kid ourselves--Spree definitely had a stinker year last season. He had something distracting on his mind. But a lot of people tend to overlook the fact that he's a dangerous player when motivated. He's definitely motivated heading into this season."

Asked if it would benefit the team's strategy and chemistry, head coach Dwane Casey gave a resounding 'yes,' with no hesitation. "Latrell's been in the league for a while now. He brings tremendous basketball IQ to our table, and he acknowledges what we're trying to do." Regarding last season's infamous remarks concerning his contract situation, Casey replied, "We all make mistakes. Sure, it wasn't the right thing to say, but he regrets it. I think that's a sign that he's ready to change his play this season."

Sprewell is signed to a 2-year contract which is currently paying him $5.2 million a year. "

Has anyone heard of this??? Someone on the RealGM site posted it, so I'm assuming it's true.

I sincerely hope that is nonsense.

Spree is bad chemistry, really. He may play well but he still will be disgruntled with the people who run the team

Hard to believe the TWolves would even consider bringing Sprewell back. The last rumor I heard was he might join Cassell in Clipperland.

I think Spree should go somewhere where he wont mess up the chemistry. I was looking forward to Wally's comeback but if this is true, I dont see Wally being the same All-Star Wally he was a few years ago.

I'd be shocked if Spree returned to Minny...I know Garnett loves him but didnt Spree burn a lotta bridges in Minnesota?...plus all he does is hamper McCants' devlopment...it just doesnt make a whole lotta sense to me...

Yeah he's really bad for the team... he just doesn't fit in with those guys. I think the lakers should have gotten him, but that hard headed coach of theirs just didn't want to... [IMG]

    No offense, Dr. Phil

I also would have liked to have seen Spree as a Laker; he seems to me to be a good compliment to Kobe and Lamar Odom.

Realgm.com is known for fictisious articles. Over the summer they had a peice on Kobe and Shaq hanging out in LA acting like a couple of old love birds. Anyways, that rumor isn't legitamite, because the wolves will not bring Spree on again, they know how much character (or lack of) that he has

Any team that takes a cancer like Spree have to be absolutely desperate.
