I'm actually bullish on the Yanx starting pitchers...I believe they'll be considerably better than what we had last year...the offense should be just as good if not better than last year so if the pitching is as good as I believe they can be, the Yanx will win well over 100 games.

Caught that NYY Spring Training show and was not very impressed. Same old we gotta, we're gonna have to. Most of the players when asked what their favorite part of being a Yankee started their answers wia a pause followed by a stutter or stammer.
 
Gittens just hit the crap out of that one for a grand slam giving yanks 5-3 lead.
 
I know it was just Spring Training pitching but it sure was nice to see Sanchez totally destroy that pitch for a monster HR...most of us have been dogging him for the last year or two, but I root for the laundry, always have...and as long as he wears pinstripes I'll retain hope that he'll finally realize his potential.

Seems to me that his recent struggles at the plate as well as behind the plate are due to technique/approach, attitude, and concentration...love to see him return to being "The Sanchise".
 
When the Yankees play Boston and face Ottavino I hope thry light that asshole up like a pinball machine. Ottavino now claims he'd do all right if he had to face Teddy Ball Game. The legends are what hey are while Ottavino is a punk.
