    According to the Sacramento Bee the Spurs are closing in on a deal for Ron Artest.

    The Spurs would send the expiring contracts of Francisco Elson and Brent Barry for Artest and possibly include a draft pick.</span>

    interesting...the Sacremento Bee also reported the deal with the Hawks first I believe...if that happened Spurs might just jump back up to favorites in the West...

    The West is going crazy!

    This is dumb.

    If this actually happens, which I doubt it will, it'll be just another case of the rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer.
