I was just looking at NBA.CoM & it pointed out if the playoffs began today then the Grizz would be facing the Spurs in the playoffs, and what I didn't know is the Grizz have beaten the spurs in the two games that they have played in. Do you think that the grizzlies could give the spurs an early exit??

NO way in hell. Sorry. The Spurs are just too good in 7 games. remember all series are 7 now. not a first round 5 game series as in the past. The SPURS will kill them.

The result would be no different than last year, Memphis may get 1 game this time but certainly nothing more than that. Tim will or should be full heathly for the post season. He is expected to return for the final 5 games of the regular season.

Memphis would be lucky to even win 2 games against the Spurs. The team is just too strong.

If Houston has a struggle in their tough schedule for their last 8 games, Memphis might overtake the Rockets and get sixth in the West to face Seattle, but they could also stay at 7th if Denver overtakes them.

If the Grizz are playing the Spurs, I won't expect any Cinderellas. This team doesn't have a lot of playoff experience in their core group of players and the result might be the same as last year's, or Memphis might take one game. It's pretty unlikely that Memphis will win four games though.

If the Grizzlies face the Spurs, there's no doubt in my mind that the Spurs will win, but I'd still rather see them play the Spurs than the Suns or Sonics just for some revenge on last year's embarrassing first round sweep.
