<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Tim Derk, the original Spurs Coyote, last Friday experienced an event in which he lost blood to a part of the brain which affects balance and muscle strength. He is recovering in a local hospital.
According to his personal physician, Dr. James Martin, ?We are aggressively trying to identify the cause of the event and Mr. Derk is on medication to prevent this happening again. We are obtaining multiple expert opinions to address his medical condition.?

Our prayers and thoughts are with Tim, his wife, Colleen, and their two children. We pray for his full recovery and hope to have him back in the Coyote costume as soon as he is able to return. Tim has been part of the Spurs family ? in our community relations and marketing departments ? for the past 20 years. He has entertained millions in person and over television throughout the world and we know that all who have seen him perform wish him a speedy recovery.</div>

I never seen the coyote without the outfit on. He looks like a Donald Trump businessman type in that photo. For some reason I picture mascots as some drunk overweight/over the hill cats. But anyway my best wishes are with him & his family

I know what you mean, man. That's why I included his pic. It sounds serious though. I sure hope he recovers.
