"Nazr's had kind of an up-and-down camp," coach Gregg Popovich told the San Antonio Express-News. "He's just had to make sure everything is OK at home. He's missed a decent portion of what he didn't get last year, even though he played pretty well for us in spurts in the playoffs last season. He's just behind a little bit." Mohammed flew home to be at the birth of his son and recently returned home to be with his sick wife.</div>

I can't understand why Nazr started last yr anyways. Why not go with Duncan in the middle, and rotate between Fabricio, Horry and Nazr at the PF? Rasho can back up TD at the 5, and if you think TD can't play center, well then you're bonkers [IMG]

Sure, a 3 time MVP doesn't have the balls to be a full time C. [IMG] [IMG]

Alot of Duncan hating coming from you, why is that I wonder? Maybe It's because he is better in all areas than your aging go to guy who sits out games with a broken toenail.

Duncan doesn't play center because he likes the power forward position better. Has nothing to do with not having the balls to play there. Duncan has played center quite abit at times during games but It's not a position he is too keen on playing.

He is the best player on the planet, he does what he wishes. And who are you to call him out? he has done everything a player could ever wish to do.

Instead of telling this little bitch Heat4Life to get out of the forums, I'm going to try and give a reason why. Tim Duncan play's PF because he has an advantage in terms of strength and height over other PF's. Of course he is fundamentally sound etc... Playing at C would mean he is either equal, or overpowered by the other C's. There would be no advantage seeing as the are all bigger or the same size. He could play at C, but there would be no use as he wouldn't have any advantage, unlike at PF, where he is arguably, the number one PF in the NBA.

For someone 25 years old Heat4Life is one very very dumb guy. He probably just got into liking basketball cuz those are the kind of things posers would say. Making a comment like that with no reasoning other then trying to bash a player by itself makes themselfs seem as stupid as they really are.
