    He better be in shape

Oh and he better buy into the system and not be a locker room cancer like he has been everywhere else.

Is that too much to ask? hope not.

The guy can certainly score thats for sure.

Was quite shocked to hear this on the radio.

I think he'll buy into the Spurs system just because its the Spurs and not the Hornets where he is a Starter coming off the bench on a team like Philly, i think he'll except his role as a bench player as a Spur, now that he has a chance to win it all.We already now he is going to play D just look at last year Turkoglu didnt play any D is Sac-Town but when we was with the Spurs last year he played D, look for the new and improved "BIG DOG"

Well he really didn`t do anything for us so maybe he can prove something for you guys, good luck with him and hopefully he`s 100% and earn back the name Big Dog.

Is there anyone else in the league who less represents what the Spurs are about than Glenn Robinson? This is one of the most unusual signings that I've ever seen.

I guess the next signing that I'll see is Utah giving Isaiah Rider a 10 day contract.

Glenn Robinson is a good offensive player, and that's about it. The Spurs could use another scorer so I guess this is a solid signing for them.

Tells you how desperate the Spurs are for another offensive scoring option, if Duncan isnt going to be ready to be 100% effective by the playoffs. Anyway, Iam not even for sure how effective Robinson can be at this point, he has sat out all this year. And hardly played last year in Philly.....I know the old saying is for scores its like riding a bike. But still how many shots will he need to get back into a legitmate groove cause the more shots he ends to be come effective again the less shots for Parker, Manu, and Barry, the other perimeter guys. And that isnt what the Spurs need. Glenn Robinson fit into a system, hmmm, highly unlikely, didnt the Spurs try to get Ron Mercer to fit into their system a few years ago and that didnt work out. Robinson is far worst. I really want to see how this little experiment works out

g-rob has been healthy for a while guys. just because ur on the IL doesnt mean ur hurt always.. and this is a great pickup. when you have a great defensive team like the spurs you can afford for one player in the lineup not having to be a good defender. so that arguement goes out the window about him not fitting in. its a team defense.

but wow, this pickup makes the spurs deeper than the pacific ocean.. oh well

I think the SPurs will send a help D whenever the other team tries to go one on one on him. I'd also like to see how he'll fit in offensively because the Spurs have a deep system that shouldn't be broken, with the exception of Manu.

Yes he was IL because he didnt want to play for Philly since the rookie AI took his spot, he was insulted, just another point toward him being a team cancer. And it doesnt matter if he was injured or not, point is he was on the floor for in game action in the last past 6 months, so its going to be something for him to adjust in his return. btw, Nobody was saying he wont fit in because he isnt healthy, He wont fit in (if he doesnt) because he is a "me only" player on a team that many feels inbodies the team basketball concept.

Well with all the questions marks about Robinson, he looked pretty good last night in his Spur debut.

7 points on 3/4 shooting in only 13 minutes of action. He came on in the 2nd quarter and quickly hit two mid range jumpers.

He honestly didn't look like hasn't played all year. Was quite active.

I seen him, and he was indeed a little active. He also had a pretty solid performance as well, and am I dreaming or did Glenn Robinson actually BLOCK a SHOT?! [IMG]

I like Glenn Robinson, I think he'll be good for us in the playoffsm we can always use another shooter.
